Once upon a time…
Come on, get real! Do you really think some magical, mythical creatures cut our grass, line our fields, stock our concession stands and make our softball fields look presentable? If so, we're sorry to disappoint you. Our fields are cared for by mortal beings—thus far, a very small group of mortal beings—and not some fabled Field Fairies!!!
One of the core principles of Burrell FastPitch is make a good impression, whether on or off the field. That's why we spend the extra dollar for first class uniforms, quality equipment and a state-of-the-art website. But that’s not enough. We believe if we do all of those things and our fields look bad, we look bad. Trust us when we tell you we’ve visited some terrific softball facilities that look terrible simply because no one took the time to do basic maintenance like cutting the grass, trimming weeds and emptying trash containers. We’re too proud of our organization to ever let that happen and we intend to run a very tight ship when it comes to field maintenance.
Unfortunately, we can’t do this alone and need your help. While it does take a considerable amount of time to maintain four softball fields, the job can be made much easier if everyone agrees to help. Ask yourself this question: Do I have an hour each week to help make the fields my daughter plays on look better? If the answer is "yes", Burrell FastPitch’s Field Fairies have room for you.
